My client is a highly successful civil engineering contractor, looking for an H&S Advisor to be based in Glasgow covering a number of their sites in the Glasgow area

Purpose:

* To be part of the Integrated Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Team, working closely with project teams, stakeholders and the supply chain * To be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring programs that promote a safe and healthy working environment whilst ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, reporting to the Head of HSEQ Department. * To deliver Health, Safety, Environment and Quality support and advice to the site, including coordinating / carrying out site audits. * To ensure that all Risk Assessments, SSOW, COSHH and other key documents are reviewed and fit for purpose. * Ensure any environmental consents or permits required are applied for, and all conditions are complied with. Communicate permit requirements/conditions to the project delivery team in good time to enable work to be planned. * In the event of any Health, Safety or Environmental incidents, carry out the necessary investigation, preparing reports and remedial actions as required and liaising with regulatory bodies. * Assist with meeting clients, stakeholders, legislative other third party a...
