Job Description
O'Neill & Brennan are partnering with a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor who are looking for a practical, site-focused Health & Safety Advisor to support multiple groundworks projects across Cambridge and the Eastern region. The role involves regular site visits, auditing, and coaching site teams to maintain high safety standards. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out site inspections and audits across groundworks projects.\n\nEnsure compliance with CDM 2015, HSWA, and company procedures.\n\nSupport the preparation and review of RAMS and other H&S documentation.\n\nDeliver inductions, toolbox talks, and on-site training.\n\nLead or support accident/incident investigations and reporting.\n\nEngage with site teams and subcontractors to promote a positive safety culture.\n\nKeep up to date with legislation and provide practical advice to project teams.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\n\nNEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) – essential.\n\nExperience in groundworks, civil engineering, or new build housing.\n\nStrong understanding of UK health & safety legislation and CDM.\n\nFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel.\n\nWhat's on Offer?\n\nCompetitive salary\nGenerous Car Allowance\nPension\nCareer progression\nO’Neill and Brennan values and promotes equality, All individuals will be treated in a fair and equal manner and in accordance with the law regardless of , marital status, , , , , disability or
