Manage and lead the educational establishment/s to the benefit of the children and wider community in compliance with relevant legislation and policy and guidance issued by the Scottish Government and East Ayrshire Council in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, Children and Young Person s Service Plan and Best Value. The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. This is a permanent full time post based within St Sophia's Primary School, Galston. The hours of work are 35 hours per week to be worked Monday - Friday at the direction of the line manager.
