THE COMPANY This is an exciting opportunity with a fast-paced financial services business. The role offers the chance to lead an underwriting team and have a real impact in your role to make a difference to company performance.
THE ROLE Managing a large team to oversee underwriting decisions and improve the wider decisioning process Oversee deal approvals and pricing, as well as work with fraud and financial crime Work and communicate closely with senior members and other teams within the business, including Operations and Credit Risk Take a crucial role in leadership and development for existing managers in the team, supporting a collaborative culture
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE : Essential to have experience managing a credit underwriting function Experience managing a large team and developing management abilities in others Experience working with Credit Risk to improve operational credit Ability to be agile and work in a fast-paced, driven environment
