This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for governance, audit oversight, and strategic tax optimisation, working closely with the Group CFO.The Key responsibilities for the Head of Tax & Reporting will include:Lead all direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple UK and European entitiesDrive tax strategy, risk management, and optimisation (including transfer pricing and group relief)Oversee statutory accounts, consolidated tax reporting, and submissions to Group HQManage internal and external audits and relationships with tax authorities and advisorsProvide technical tax and accounting guidance to regional finance teamsLead tax training and compliance programmes across the businessMonitor legislative changes and advise senior leadership on business impactChampion continuous improvement in tax systems, processes, and controlsSupport business projects with tax risk assessments and compliance reviewsOur Ideal candidate will need to have:Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Extensive experience in senior tax leadership within a complex, multi entity environmentExpert knowledge of UK tax, IFRS, UK GAAP, and cross border taxationProven experience in tax compliance, audit management, and strategic tax planningStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience delivering tax training and developing high performing finance teamsBackground in facilities management, engineering, or a related service led sector would be desirableExperience with finance systems implementation and transformationWell make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role. You will work 37.5 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
