Penguin Recruitment is proud to partner with a specialist Building Services and Design Consultancy that is seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Sustainability to join its expanding Manchester team.

The Role

This is a senior leadership position offering the opportunity to shape and grow the sustainability service while playing a key role in client delivery and business development.

Key Responsibilities

*

Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients
*

Support the growth of new services and contribute to client marketing initiatives
*

Lead all aspects of project delivery across the sustainability service offering
*

Procure, manage, and coordinate specialist external sub-consultants

Candidate Requirements

*

Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or another built environment discipline
*

Proven experience within sustainability consultancy in the built environment
*

Strong project leadership skills with the ability to represent the business positively within multidisciplinary design teams
*

Demonstrated client-facing experience across multiple project stages
*

Sound understanding of financial and resource management
*

Knowledge of dynamic simulation software, mechanical design principles, sustainability rating systems, planning requirements, operational energy assessments, and life cycle assessments (highly desirable)
*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high-quality report writing
