If you like what we’re saying, keep reading!About the roleWe are seeking a Head of Strategy to partner with our People & Culture Leadership team and to lead our Leadership & Development team whilst driving the global project portfolio for execution. This is a highly influential role designed for a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of people strategy, end‑to‑end portfolio project management and organisational impact. Acting as a trusted advisor and right‑hand to senior People & Culture leaders, you will help shape, prioritise, and accelerate leadership and capability initiatives that drive performance and culture at scale. A sharp lens will be required on our corporate goals and strategies, bringing a change‑management approach to identified opportunities for transformation across the whole of SimCorp as we work at building and developing effective teams, becoming One SimCorp, selling and delivering SimCorp One.As Head of Strategy and Transformation, you will bring clarity, rigor, and momentum to complex portfolio management, translating vision into execution, enabling effective decision‑making, and ensuring leadership and development programmes deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how leaders grow, how culture evolves, and how individuals are developed across the organisation. Included in your duties will be accountability for our Leadership and Development team, guiding our employee value proposition, our approach to portfolio learning and performance management.Why this role is important to usThe Head of Strategy and Transformation at SimCorp plays a pivotal leadership role in leading the strategic people priorities of the organisation. This position works closely with the CPO, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to ensure the efficient execution of SimCorp’s strategic people initiatives and organisational goals. The Head of Strategy and Transformation acts as a strategic advisor, facilitating decision‑making processes, managing cross‑functional collaboration, and overseeing the effective delivery of key projects. The role requires a deep understanding of the business, a high degree of organisational expertise, and the ability to navigate complex strategic people issues to ensure alignment and effective implementation of SimCorp’s vision.What you will be responsible forServe as a trusted advisor to the CPO and senior leadership, providing strategic counsel and ensuring alignment across the organization.Oversee and manage key strategic people initiatives, ensuring effective execution and timely delivery and ongoing prioritisation based on capacity and business needs.Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, managing priorities, tracking progress, and ensuring that strategic projects are on track.Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of high‑priority business initiatives, ensuring alignment with SimCorp long‑term goals.Support the CPO and P&C Leadership Team in preparing for executive meetings, executive briefings, and strategic decision‑making sessions.Provide oversight for key business functions, ensuring that the people strategy is translated into actionable steps and executed across the organization.Lead and mentor teams involved in the execution of strategic initiatives, providing guidance, direction, and promoting a results‑oriented culture.Lead members of our Leadership and Development team (7 specialists) in order to help SimCorp deliver as SimCorp One as we look to reach our goals of continuing growth with new and existing clients and improving scalability and margin.What we valueProven experience in a senior People, Culture, or HR leadership roleDemonstrated success operating at a strategic level within People & Culture, ideally in complex or matrixed organisations.People‑centred mindset with high emotional intelligence, resilience, and a commitment to building inclusive, high‑performing teams and cultures with an emphasis on collaboration and communicationSolid operational, planning, and governance disciplineSkilled in project portfolio management, prioritisation, reporting, and maintaining effective governance across multiple ongoing change initiatives.Background in Leadership & Development or organisational capabilityDeep understanding of leadership frameworks, talent development, succession planning, and capability building at scale.Advanced strategic thinking and execution capabilityAbility to translate strategy into clear priorities, operating rhythms, and measurable outcomes bringing structure and momentum to complex agendas.Credibility and confidence partnering with senior leadersExperience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, with the gravitas to lead discussions, offer constructive critique, and navigate sensitive topics.
