Head of Solar Installations (Progression To Directorship) Swansea - Plasmarl £57,500 - £62,000 + Training + Progression to Director + Company Benefits Are you a Senior Electrician or similar from a solar background that wants to work for one of Wales’ fastest‑growing businesses, with best‑in‑class training and staff retention? You will be 80% office based in Swansea and then occasional site visits. This business has won several large projects which has secured the next 5 years of work allowing them to enter into a growth phase. The projects range from large‑scale industrial solar installations to government‑backed eco installations. In this role you will manage a team of 4 electricians predominantly from the offices in Plasmarl, with occasional site visits. You will be in charge of managing a variety of subcontractors, site visits and toolbox chats to make sure projects are completed in a timely manner. This role would suit somebody that is from an electrical background and has experience in solar installation, design and battery storage systems that's want to grow with a rapidly expanding business. THE ROLE
Manage a team of three electricians 80% Office based 20% Site visits Site visits to meet with contractors and assess the project progress Design reviews on EasyPV and OpenSolar Work with senior management to discuss project pipelines
THE PERSON
18th Edition Knowledge of Solar PV or OpenSolar Experience with solar installs and battery storage BPEC and BESS
