We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead technology strategy and delivery for a fast-growing online platform in the creative and print sector. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for shaping the engineering vision, driving innovation, and building a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Own the technical roadmap and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Lead and mentor a talented engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Oversee architecture and development of web applications built on PHP, leveraging AWS and serverless infrastructure. Champion best practices in software development, DevOps, and cloud- solutions. Collaborate closely with product and commercial teams to align technology with business goals. Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in senior engineering leadership roles within high-traffic digital platforms or e-commerce businesses. Strong technical expertise in PHP, AWS, and serverless architectures. Excellent people management skills with a track record of building and scaling engineering teams. Strategic thinker with hands-on capability and a passion for delivering robust, customer-centric solutions. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and modern development practices.
