Head of Social & Influencer - Creative Agency Location: London (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office) The Company A creatively-led, award-winning integrated creative agency with a reputation for delivering culturally relevant work that drives both brand impact and commercial results. With a high-performing team already in place and strong momentum across the wider agency, they are now looking for a senior leader to take this part of the business to the next level. The Role This is a senior leadership role for a Head of Social & Influencer to lead and evolve a growing department spanning content, organic social, influencer marketing and paid amplification. Reporting into senior agency leadership, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the division - leading the team, shaping the growth strategy, overseeing key client relationships and ensuring the work is creatively strong, culturally relevant and commercially effective. This role is about much more than delivery. It requires someone who can build a clear vision for the department, raise standards, develop talent, drive profitability and play a central role in new business and agency growth. You’ll be joining a business with strong existing foundations, ambitious plans and a genuine appetite to keep building. Responsibilities
Lead the Social & Influencer department across team structure, output, operations and long‑term growth strategy Own the division’s commercial performance, including income, gross profit, team utilisation and overall profitability Act as a senior client partner across key accounts, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and identifying growth opportunities Champion best‑in‑class social, content and influencer work that is platform‑native, culturally relevant and strategically sound Oversee integrated campaigns across influencer, social content and paid amplification, ensuring strong collaboration across strategy, creative, earned, media and production teams Drive new business and organic growth, contributing to pitches, proposals and broader agency development Build and lead a high‑performing team - inspiring, mentoring and developing talent while creating clear structure and accountability Help shape the future of the agency’s wider integrated offer by ensuring social and influencer thinking is embedded at the heart of the work
Who Are You
An experienced senior leader within social and influencer ideally operating at Head of Department, Business Director, Client Services Director or equivalent level A background leading teams and developing capabilities within a fast‑paced agency environment Deep understanding of the social, creator and influencer landscape across major platforms, and how brands can use them credibly and effectively A strong commercial operator, comfortable managing team profitability, forecasting, income targets and growth plans A senior client lead who can build trust quickly, challenge constructively and operate confidently with stakeholders at all levels A champion of creative, culturally fluent work that delivers both brand relevance and measurable business results Comfortable working across multiple disciplines and bringing together strategy, creative, earned, content, media and production into joined‑up solutions Well‑networked, well‑informed and credible in the wider market, with the gravitas to represent the agency externally Entrepreneurial and ambitious, excited by the opportunity to step into a visible leadership role and help shape the next phase of growth
