Job Overview Our client, Brent Council, is looking for a Head of Service for their Quality & Improvement team. Key Responsibilities
Understand and apply CQC processes and requirements. Work office‑based 2–3 times a week, with full‑time presence if there is a CQC inspection. Be immediately available for urgent commitments. Supervise a small team of up to five direct reports across Practice Development, Principal Social Work, Transformation and Performance teams. Lead performance, data, training, development and practice improvement initiatives. Demonstrate evidence of experience improving a CQC rating in a local authority context.
