Head of Sales - Industrial Engineering\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead and grow the commercial function of a dynamic engineering and manufacturing business specialising in Industrial Engineering solutions\n\nYou will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy, building strong customer relationships, driving new business growth, and leading a sales team to deliver on ambitious revenue objectives. This is a unique opportunity to scale sales in a company that combines cutting-edge engineering with resilience-focused solutions deployed across Europe\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets across industrial engineering solutions\n\nLead, mentor, and grow the sales team to maximise performance and market reach.\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients, channel partners, OEMs and strategic accounts.\n\nDrive business development initiatives across targeted sectors (industrial, municipal, commercial).\n\nWork closely with engineering, marketing and project delivery teams to ensure sales proposals are technically sound and commercially compelling.\n\nAnalyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to shape go-to-market strategy.\n\nPrepare forecasts, sales pipeline reports, and performance analyses for executive leadership.\n\nRepresent the business at industry events, conferences and client meetings throughout Europe.\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nProven track record of senior sales leadership within technical, engineered products or industrial solutions.\n\nExperience in selling to industrial end users and installation companies\n\nExcellent commercial acumen with a strong understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and contract negotiation.\n\nStrong communicator and relationship builder with confidence interfacing at C-suite level.\n\nDemonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and scale high-performing sales teams.\n\nEuropean travel readiness and familiarity with cross-border sales environments.\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\n* Total salary: £120,000 - £170,000\n\n* Base salary: £100,000 negotiable depending on experience\n\n* Annual performance bonus: up to 20% of base\n\n* Deal bonuses: £1,000-£20,000 per contract depending on deal size and margin\n\n* Car allowance: £10,000\n\n* Holiday allowance: 25 days plus 8 days bank holiday\n\n* Private health insurance\n\n* 8% pension \n\nWR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
