We are seeking an outstanding individual to lead our property investment and sustainability function. This pivotal role involves managing a high‑performing team responsible for delivering investment programmes and sustainability initiatives across our property portfolio. A key focus will be ensuring the effective collection and use of asset data to enable informed decision‑making and drive innovative approaches to property management. Strong leadership will be essential in engaging residents, improving the efficiency of homes, and delivering complex investment and regeneration projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The position involves inspiring and motivating the team while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Oversight of asset intelligence and its collection, storage, and reporting will be critical to maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the delivery of the Asset Management Strategy. The role also encompasses developing and implementing strategies for property investment and sustainability, including achieving Net Zero carbon targets. Managing procurement and contractor relationships to ensure robust performance and value for money will be a core responsibility, alongside acting as a subject‑matter expert in asset management, building safety, and energy efficiency. Resident and stakeholder engagement will remain vital, ensuring investment priorities reflect their needs. To succeed, you will bring significant experience in property and sustainability strategy within the social housing sector, alongside strong commercial acumen and risk‑management skills. You will be an effective leader and communicator, able to influence and negotiate at all levels. A relevant degree or professional qualifications such as CIOB or RICS membership are desirable. If you are committed to leading a busy team in a fast‑paced environment by ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service and enjoy working with customers and contractors, this role could be the perfect fit for you. The role requires travel between different sites, making a driving licence and access to a vehicle or effective use of public transport essential. Job Purpose

Manage, create and evolve a high performing property investment and sustainability team. Ensure we continually evolve and innovate our collection and use of information and data associated with our properties and their surrounding spaces. Engage our residents in shaping and delivering timely investment programmes, improving the efficiency of our homes, and managing complex investment and regeneration projects in a customer‑centric manner.
