Head of Private Banking – IPOE Consulting

Our client, an international bank based in London, is seeking an exceptional leader to join their organization as Head of Private Banking, driving the strategic growth of their high‑net‑worth client segment. This rare opportunity allows you to shape a premier private banking offering, lead a high‑performing team, and deliver world‑class client experiences in a fast‑evolving financial landscape.

• Review financial budgets on a monthly basis and develop strategies to stay on track.
• Work and liaise with Private Banking Head Office and other counterparties to grow the London client base and product offering.
• Deputise and support other team members by attending to clients’ needs in their absence whilst adhering to FCA competence requirements.
• Continuously build investment knowledge and be conversant with the full range of private banking services, acting as an effective trusted advisor.
• Initiate, develop and retain client relationships, contributing actively to the business development and financial goals of the unit.
• Maintain up‑to‑date compliance, KYC and client profile for each client.
• Assess risk tolerance and investment suitability of each client and market appropriate products and services.
• Ensure client satisfaction and service quality by meeting their needs and completing administrative tasks.
• Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences and new products.
• Contribute to all aspects of the marketing mix, including product development.
• Complete meeting reports and establish a follow‑up system.
• Prepare written presentations and other documents independently.
• Drive forward the investment and real estate book out of London.
• Develop the investment and real estate offering based on client needs.
• Work with and support relationship managers to determine customer investment needs and enable solutions adhering to Private Banking guidelines.
