About Us
Six Nations Rugby Ltd (SNRL) is the official organising body of the annual men’s, women’s, U20s and U21 Six Nations Championships, festivals and the Summer and Autumn International Series (SNS/ANS). SNRL is also a co-owner of the new Nations Cup competition, alongside SANZAAR, which will be played on a biannual basis from 2026.
Working in partnership with its member unions and national federations in England (RFU), France (FFR), Ireland (IRFU), Italy (FIR), Scotland (SRU) and Wales (WRU), SNRL has responsibility for the commercialisation of centralised media and commercial rights and for the promotion and operation of the globally renowned Six Nations Championships, SNS/ANS, Nations Cup from 2026 and other development competitions.
The Six Nations Championship is the world’s oldest and greatest annual international rugby tournament which dates back to 1883. It consists of three highly competitive annual championships across men’s, women’s and U20s rugby. The media rights and agreed commercial rights of the SNS & ANS are also centralised, with SNRL now supporting the marketing and growth of all home-based internationals for all six unions.

About the role
The Head of Policy and Integrity will sit within the Rugby Department at Six Nations Rugby Ltd and act as the primary point of contact for disciplinary, anti-corruption, anti-doping and all policy and integrity matters across all Six Nations and co-owned competitions.
This role will be central to shaping and delivering a robust, consistent, and progressive competition framework across all rugby policies and integrity-based matters, including the newly formed Nations Championship, which will be in conjunction with SANZAAR and the participating Unions. The role requires a calm, collaborative approach, engaging key stakeholders including players, coaches, match officials, World Rugby, SANZAAR, all participating Unions and key service providers to ensure alignment with global best practice.
Additionally, the role will support pathway competitions, creating, developing and implementing effective education and awareness programmes and processes at international level, whilst working in partnership with Host Unions on operational delivery. In this role you will promote innovation, efficiency, and integrity throughout all competitions, an emphasis will be made on education, awareness, and continuously evolving and improving working processes.
As Head Policy & Integrity you will:
DISCIPLINE AND INTEGRITY
Oversee and lead all disc for disciplinary, anti-corruption, anti-doping and all policy and integrity matters across all Six Nations and co-owned competitions, tournaments and festivals.
This will include the creation and management of all associated administrative tasks including disciplinary hearing coordination.
Oversea and ensure that all related Policy and Integrity based rules and regulations as applicable to all competitions owned/co-owned and managed by Six Nations Rugby are upheld and complied with for all competitions.
Responsibility to ensure all rugby related policies and procedures are regularly updated and fit for purpose, having regard to the various regulatory bodies that influence the sport, including but not limited to World Rugby and external commissions.
Work in collaboration with World Rugby in respect of judicial appointments, ensuring that all appointees are fully prepared and briefed ahead of each competition, which will include conducting briefing meetings and providing technical training with advanced platforms such as Sony CI.
Work with our member Unions to confirm judicial appointments are made in accordance with our rules and regulations. To ensure the appointment process is clear, transparent and fit for purpose, which will include the continual engagement with the six Unions and Federations, additional participating Unions, leading into World Rugby directly.
Manage and dissemination of all administrative information relevant to all panels, appointees and colleagues operating within the policy and integrity network across the international game.
Delegate tasks and responsibility as necessary to the Competitions & Events Executive, who reports directly to the Director of Competitions and Events.
MEDICAL AND RESEARCH
Oversee, inform and manage the Six Nations Medical Advisory Group, providing information and seeking advice on all competition related challenges and coordinate proposed solutions with key stakeholders.
Manage, update and deliver the agreed Minimum Medal Standards across all competitions.
Manage all associated applications and policies across the international competitions, tournament and festivals in accordance with World Rugby policy.
Oversee and manage the delivery of Injury surveillance & research studies across all competitions as agreed through Six Nations Rugby Committee and supported by the Medical Advisory Group.

Essential Experience and Skills:
A high level of attention to detail
Excellent organisational and time management skills
French, Italian and/or an additional language would be beneficial
Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders
Advanced level MS Office skills across all packages, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint
