The Role

As Head of Physics, you will lead the Physics provision and play a key role within the wider Science department.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing the Physics department
Delivering and developing an engaging and rigorous Physics curriculum
Raising attainment and progress across Key Stages 3-5
Supporting and developing teaching staff within the department
Monitoring performance and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
Promoting a passion for Physics and STEM across the school

What we're looking for

A qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Physics
Proven experience teaching Physics at secondary level
Leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
A track record of strong student outcomes
Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
A passion for inspiring students in science
Located within or able to travel to West London
