As the Head of Engineering , youll take the reins of our technical vision, leading a cross-functional engineering team to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that directly impact the safety of millions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of safety technology, requiring a blend of hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to drive innovation at scale.
Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team, including front-end developers (Vue 3), back-end engineers (NestJS), and DevOps specialists.
Drive the technical vision and oversee the architecture and development of our platform, utilizing Vue 3, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and Azure cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with Product and Design teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering deliverables with business objectives and user needs.
Coach and mentor team members, promoting best practices for clean code, code quality, system reliability, and high-performance development.
Own and optimize CI/CD processes, DevOps workflows, and infrastructure planning to ensure fast delivery and cost-effective cloud operations.
Champion Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure effective team performance and transparency throughout product delivery cycles.
Promote a strong culture of documentation, testing, and continuous improvement in both product quality and engineering processes.
Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams across front-end, back-end, and DevOps functions.
Deep technical expertise in Vue 3 , NestJS , and TypeScript .
Strong experience with PostgreSQL , Azure cloud services, and building CI/CD pipelines with containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes .
Proven ability to build scalable applications while managing technical debt and delivering high-performance, reliable solutions.
Experience with Agile development, sprint planning, and backlog management, working in fast-paced environments.
Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of key projects and technical direction.
Bonus Skills
Experience with Azure IoT Hub , Azure Functions , and serverless architecture .
Previous experience in leading multi-location or hybrid teams.
