Head of People – Occam Industries

We build AI for defence. Our software is deployed with Ukrainian frontline units and integrated into EU defence systems. We're well-funded, fast-growing, and unlike any company you've worked for.

The Challenge

You'll be building people operations for two teams that couldn't be more different:

NATO teams: Process-driven. Defence prime partnerships. Traditional onboarding. Think: the army.

RIPP (Rapid Innovation & Prototype Platform): Deployed with Ukrainian troops. Wartime timelines. Adrenaline junkies who treat safety policies as suggestions. Self-starters on steroids. Think: special forces.

You need to recruit for both. Create safety protocols that RIPP won't completely ignore. Manage risk as much as possible in an active conflict. Build processes that work in Brussels and on the front lines. And somehow maintain culture across this chaos.

In the next year, you'll scale us from 20 to 100+ people and launch multiple EU subsidiaries with new office sites across Central and Eastern Europe.
