Job Advertisement: Head of Oracle System Support & Development working within the Civil Nuclear Constabulary Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire Contract Type: Permanent Annual Salary: £53,946 - £63,509 plus a £2,000 South East Allowance (South-East England based Staff only) and generous benefits package Working Pattern: Full Time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role has been assessed as suitable for hybrid working with a 60% office/40% home split. Please note this role will be subject to High Level Police Vetting, you must have been residing in the UK continually for a minimum of 5 years. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure BPSS supported systems align with business needs. Oversee the delivery of BPSS support services, maintaining agreed internal SLAs. Facilitate effective communication to resolve issues with suppliers, partners, and customers. Ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs while managing vendor support services. Lead, motivate, and develop your team to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. Uphold security practices and standards to protect sensitive information. Implement training strategies to enhance application knowledge within the team.
What You Bring
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field. Strong leadership skills with experience managing vendors, partners, and technical teams. Proven ability to develop and implement service delivery models for ERP transformation. Expertise in Oracle Fusion, HCM, and related modules. A background in the public sector, preferably within policing, is highly desirable. Occasional travel to other sites is required. A driving licence is essential for access to these sites. Travel and accommodation will be paid for by the CNC.
