Responsibilities Lead the Music Department, promoting and delivering outstanding teaching, learning and attainment across all key stages. Provide guidance, support and advice to department staff, taking a leading role in modelling best practice. Work closely with other departments (e.g. Drama and Dance) and contribute to a wide range of performances throughout the year. Maintain the department’s provision of GCSE Music, with a view to offering A Level, and offer a broad range of instrumental lessons, extra‑curricular clubs and enrichment activities including theatre trips. Qualifications & Experience Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a proven track record of achievement. Suitable for an ambitious teacher of Music or an existing Departmental Head seeking a new opportunity.
