Head of Maths Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Maths department as an outstanding Head of Maths
As Head of Maths, ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages
Develop and implement a strong curriculum strategy as Head of Maths
Use data effectively in your role as Head of Maths to raise attainment and progress
Support, coach, and develop teaching staff within the department as Head of Maths
Contribute to whole-school leadership initiatives in your capacity as Head of Maths

Head of Maths The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level (KS3KS5 desirable)
Proven track record as a successful Head of Maths or aspiring Head of Maths
Strong leadership and organisational skills required for a Head of Maths role
Passion for delivering excellence in education as a Head of Maths
Ability to motivate and inspire students and staff as an effective Head of Maths
