As Head of Marketing (B2B), you will lead the strategy and delivery of marketing across Carter Jonas’ Commercial, Rural, Infrastructure, and Planning & Development divisions, combining leadership with hands‑on delivery. Reporting to the Marketing Director within a 24‑strong Clients & Marketing team, you will work closely with colleagues across Digital, Design, Communications, Research, Client Development, and Bid Management to ensure collaboration and insight‑led activity aligned to Vision 2030. Operating closely to divisional leaders, you will build on key objectives and manage successful marketing plans, events, content, collateral, as well as confidently lead conversations at Board level to ensure all tasks meet brand standards and drives business outcomes. Based in our HQ One Chapel Place, close to both Bond Street and Oxford Circus, you will be based in a prime West End location. Develop and own B2B marketing strategies and annual plans aligned to firmwide and divisional priorities, and own and optimise the relevant budgets. Deliver clear reporting for divisional boards and senior stakeholders, highlighting progress, impact and next steps.
Divisional board engagement & stakeholder leadership
Act as a senior marketing partner to divisional boards, building credibility and advising on the most effective routes to impact. Guide and challenge stakeholders to focus on activity that delivers against business goals.
Delivery, execution & quality assurance
Lead delivery of B2B marketing activity across events, content, collateral and advertising, combining hands‑on delivery with senior oversight. Ensure activity is planned, integrated and aligned with digital, CRM and communications channels. Lead, mentor and develop a team of three, fostering accountability, capability and continuous improvement. Allocate resource effectively across competing divisional priorities and embed strong ways of working.
Collaboration & integration across the function
Work closely with the Marketing Director and senior peers to ensure integrated planning and consistent brand delivery. Collaborate with Research, Client Development and Bid Management to align activity to client plans and pursuit priorities. Act as a senior leadership presence within the function, deputising for the Marketing Director as required.
What will it take to be successful? You will have gained significant senior level B2B marketing experience within a professional services environment, ideally in property. You will have the ability to set marketing strategies, build annual plans, and manage marketing budgets effectively, demonstrating clear priorities and measurable outcomes. You will have gained experience in managing multiple projects, being able to balance both pace and quality without impacting commercial value. You will be confident with content creation and insights, with knowledge of multi‑channel campaigns. You will be able to interact with senior level stakeholders with confidence, advising them on the best approach to create successful project outcomes.
