Please note this position is based in Doha, Qatar.The Head of Marketing and Student Recruitment is responsible for leading and executing the institution’s marketing, communications, and student recruitment strategy. The role ensures a strong, consistent brand presence across all channels while driving student enrolment through targeted recruitment, engagement, and promotional activities.This position provides strategic, tactical, and analytical leadership to the Marketing and Student Recruitment teams, ensuring recruitment targets and KPIs are achieved. The role involves close engagement with governmental authorities, ministries, corporate clients, and strategic partners to generate and secure a strong pipeline of prospective students.Key RelationshipsReports to: PresidentCollaborates with: Executive Leadership Team, Department Heads, Shared Services TeamsKey Responsibilities Marketing & Brand ManagementDevelop, manage, and oversee all marketing collateral, including:Social media platformsWebsite contentVideos and digital assetsPrinted materials (brochures, newsletters, annual reports)Photo libraries, exhibitions, and display materialsStrategically define, plan, execute, and monitor marketing communication plans to enhance brand visibility and awareness.Liaise with external agencies, suppliers, and service providers as required.Support and coordinate exhibitions, events, and promotional activities.Student Recruitment & Business DevelopmentLead and execute recruitment strategies to achieve enrolment targets and KPIs.Engage with corporate clients, ministries, and governmental agencies to secure enrolments.Establish, manage, and monitor strategic partnerships to ensure performance objectives are met.Develop and maintain relationships with key employers to create opportunities for:Student enrolmentInternships and work placementsTraining and development initiativesNetwork across Qatar to maximize recruitment and partnership opportunities.Leadership & Team ManagementLead, plan, and manage the Marketing Communications and Business Development teams.Allocate workloads, manage priorities, and ensure high-quality deliverables.Provide guidance, coaching, and performance management for team members.Ensure confidentiality and responsible handling of sensitive information.Reporting & Performance ManagementPrepare and submit weekly and monthly recruitment and business development reports.Track performance against agreed KPIs and recruitment targets.Present updates and recommendations to senior management.Presentations & Stakeholder EngagementPrepare and deliver presentations to corporate entities, ministries, and stakeholders.Promote academic programmes and institutional offerings to maximize applications and enrolments.General ResponsibilitiesUndertake additional duties as required by management, including potential teaching responsibilities within the post holder’s area of expertise.Key CompetenciesStrong time management and task prioritisation skillsCreative and strategic thinkingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyProficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, LinkedIn) and blogging toolsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Arabic language skills are an advantageQualifications & ExperienceMaster’s degree in:Business StudiesMarketingJournalismPublic RelationsCommunicationsor a related disciplineMinimum 7 years’ experience in mid- to senior-level management within:Marketing communicationsStudent recruitmentSales or business developmentExperience within higher education or training institutions is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
