Mode Search are partnering with a fast-growing luxury fashion business in their search for a Head of Logistics to establish and lead their global logistics function.

This is a key leadership role responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class logistics operation across all channels. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence across warehousing, transportation, and international distribution, ensuring a seamless and customer-focused supply chain as the business continues to grow globally.

The Role

• Define and implement logistics strategies across wholesale, retail, and ecommerce channels
• Oversee global movement of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across the supply chain
• Manage third-party logistics partners (3PL), freight forwarders, and carriers, including contract negotiation and performance management
• Lead warehouse operations, including inventory positioning, space planning, and seasonal volume management
• Drive international shipping compliance, including customs, duties, and trade regulations
• Partner closely with Retail and Ecommerce teams to optimise fulfilment, replenishment, returns, and delivery experience
• Lead system optimisation and digital transformation across logistics (WMS, ERP), improving automation and scalability
• Implement reporting frameworks and dashboards to track performance, cost, and delivery metrics
• Manage critical path timelines across collections, ensuring speed-to-market and operational efficiency
• Oversee inventory health strategies in collaboration with Merchandising to maximise sell-through and minimise excess stock
• Support showroom logistics and sample tracking for campaigns and photoshoots
• Build and lead a high-performing logistics team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Background within fashion, luxury, or a similar product-led environment
• Strong experience across multi-channel distribution (wholesale, retail, ecommerce)
• Deep understanding of global shipping, customs, duties, and trade compliance
• Proven experience managing 3PL providers and negotiating logistics contracts
• Strong systems knowledge (ERP, WMS) and ability to drive digital transformation
• Advanced analytical skills, with experience using BI tools and Excel to drive decisions
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling teams
• Strong commercial awareness and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proactive, solutions-driven, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
