Job Description

This role integrates full technology capability and dependencies within our business through a matrixed delivery model. You will drive regional ownership of all technologies impacting the Region and oversee Technology Services deliverables at the Regional ELT level.

You’ll act as the primary liaison between regional executive leadership, including ELT members, and all I&T Programme, Change teams, and I&T Service Delivery. Your focus will be on continuous improvement of I&T-enabled capabilities, systems, and data security, supporting regional business needs while aligning with global strategies.

You’ll develop a deep understanding of the region’s dispersed businesses, promoting global standardization of solutions where possible to maximize ROI and ensure transparency, security, and support for regional technology choices.

As a regional advocate, you will influence the development and approval of the I&T portfolio, ensuring alignment with global goals and regional needs, fostering strong partnerships between business stakeholders and I&T teams. Your role involves representing the Region CEO at the I&T Executive Steering.

Major/Key Accountabilities

Strategic Alignment

• Own and drive the regional I&T strategy, aligning with corporate standards and goals.
• Understand regional business strategies and align I&T initiatives accordingly.
• Prioritize impactful I&T initiatives and ensure regional input into the Technology Services Portfolio.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Facilitate communication between central and regional I&T functions and stakeholders.
• Advocate for regional needs within global platforms and influence program design.

IT Service Delivery

• Oversee the delivery of I&T services, ensuring quality and satisfaction.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.

IT Governance and Compliance

• Ensure adherence to I&T principles, policies, and regulations.
• Collaborate on governance and risk management practices.

Regional IT Planning and Execution

• Lead regional I&T planning, considering business needs and technology trends.
• Drive successful implementation of I&T projects.

Resource Management

• Manage regional I&T resources, including budgets and external vendors.
• Seek opportunities for resource sharing and cost savings.

Stakeholder Communication and Engagement

• Provide regular updates on I&T initiatives and performance.
• Ensure effective communication across all levels.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Promote a culture of service improvement and innovation.
• Explore emerging technologies to enhance business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related; Master’s preferred.
• Desirable: MBA.

Experience

• Experience managing large initiatives and stakeholder groups.
• Experience in a bi-modal delivery environment.
• Experience in multicultural, matrix organizations.
• 7+ years in IT or Business Relationship roles, influencing technical teams and projects.
• Proven success in customer experience improvement.
