Location: Midlands Type: Permanent - Full-Time Our Client is a well-established and trusted renewable energy installation company based in Leicestershire. Trading since 2014, we have grown to become a respected name in domestic solar PV and battery storage installations across the Midlands. As demand for renewable technologies continues to rise, we are seeking a capable and motivated Head of Installations to join our expanding team. Roles & Responsibilities Lead and oversee on-site installation activities Install, commission, and test solar PV systems, battery storage, and associated equipment Carry out AC/DC wiring, testing, fault finding, and diagnostics Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and safety standards Provide guidance and support to installation teams Liaise confidently with customers and represent the company professionally Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency Complete certification and installation documentation Requirements Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, etc.) Minimum 2 years' experience installing solar PV systems Strong understanding of BS 7671 and electrical safety regulations Experience with inverters and battery systems Customer-focused with excellent communication skills Commercially aware and solution-oriented Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively Right to work in the UK Desirable Experience Installation of EV chargers Experience with other renewable energy technologies Previous supervisory or leadership responsibilities Working Conditions Work is performed primarily on Domestic Properties Some work will be on Commercial Properties Requires standing, walking, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions May require overtime or weekend work depending on project schedule(But rare) What's on Offer Competitive salary based on experience and competency Company van + fuel card Overtime opportunities 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Pension scheme All tools and equipment provided Long-term stability within a growing company Genuine career progression opportunities Next Steps Apply to this Head of Installations role through this advert.
