Job Title: Head of Health, Safety & SecurityRenfrewCompetitive salary + benefitsThe RoleWe are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business to recruit a Head of Health, Safety & Security.This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for leading the Health & Safety function across a complex, high-risk environment including yard operations, vessels and associated facilities.You will take ownership of H&S strategy, compliance and day-to-day delivery, ensuring standards are not only met but consistently improved across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the company's Health & Safety strategyEnsure full compliance with UK legislation and industry standardsOversee audits, inspections, risk assessments and safe systems of workManage permit to work systems and emergency response planningLead incident investigations and drive corrective actionsWork closely with senior leadership to embed a strong safety cultureDeliver training, communication and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain and develop ISO standards (ISO9001 / ISO45001)What We're Looking ForProven experience in a senior H&S leadership roleBackground in a high-risk environment such as engineering, shipbuilding, construction or heavy manufacturingStrong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and complianceExperience managing H&S systems, audits and investigationsConfident engaging at all levels, from shop floor to boardroomNEBOSH General Certificate essential, Diploma preferredWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageSenior leadership role with direct impact on the businessOpportunity to shape and influence H&S strategy #J-18808-Ljbffr
