An established multi-site education organisation is seeking a Head of Human Resources to lead both the strategic and day-to-day HR agenda across its settings. Working in close partnership with senior leaders, the postholder will deliver a high-quality, compliant HR service, embed an effective HR operating model, and provide workforce planning support and practical, people-focused solutions.Key responsibilitiesProvide expert HR guidance and support across multiple sitesLead and advise on employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, etc.)Coach and upskill senior leaders and managers on policy, best practice, and confident decision-makingEnsure HR activity is legally compliant and aligned with current employment law and sector expectationsDevelop and implement organisation-wide people strategies that reflect values and cultureLead, support, and develop the HR team, ensuring consistent service delivery and continuous improvementPerson profile (high level)Demonstrable HR leadership experience in a multi-site environment (education/MAT experience welcomed)Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at senior levelProven track record of coaching leaders and driving consistent, practical HR practiceBroad, generalist HR expertise across the full employee lifecycleCIPD Level 7 (or working towards) strongly preferredReporting lineReports to a senior operations lead (e.g., Chief Operating Officer equivalent)Responsible for leading the HR function/team across the organisationJBRP1_UKTJ
