An established multi-site education organisation is seeking a Head of Human Resources to lead both the strategic and day-to-day HR agenda across its settings. Working in close partnership with senior leaders, the postholder will deliver a high-quality, compliant HR service, embed an effective HR operating model, and provide workforce planning support and practical, people-focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

Provide expert HR guidance and support across multiple sites Lead and advise on employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, etc.) Coach and upskill senior leaders and managers on policy, best practice, and confident decision-making Ensure HR activity is legally compliant and aligned with current employment law and sector expectations Develop and implement organisation-wide people strategies that reflect values and culture Lead, support, and develop the HR team, ensuring consistent service delivery and continuous improvement
