HR Recruit is seeking an experienced HR professional to support our client in the education sector. This role is initially offered as a three-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will lead and be accountable for a small team of HR professionals.

The Head of People will provide strategic and operational leadership across the HR/People function to ensure the organisation attracts, retains and develops high-quality staff. The post holder will lead all areas of HR management including employee relations, staff development, safeguarding, and compliance from an HR and legal perspective.

Role Responsibilities Lead, manage and develop the HR/People team to deliver responsive, professional and customer focused services to all areas of the organisation. Oversee the effective and efficient delivery of policies and processes for recruitment and performance management, employment relations, application of good employment practice, staff restructuring, and complex staff casework.
