This is a senior, commercially focused position offering significant influence over financial strategy, margin performance and decision‑making during an exciting period of development.This role would suit a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and wants to play a key role in driving profitable, sustainable growth.The RoleReporting into senior leadership, the Head of Finance will act as a strategic finance partner while retaining hands‑on ownership of financial performance. You will provide clarity around profitability, costs and investment decisions, ensuring finance supports the commercial objectives of the business.This is not a purely reporting role - it is a highly visible position with genuine input into how the business operates and grows.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial performance across a complex, multi‑channel trading environmentProvide commercial insight on margin, pricing, profitability and cost controlOwn budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processesSupport strategic decisions through financial modelling and scenario analysisDeliver clear, concise reporting to senior stakeholdersMaintain effective control of working capital, inventory and overheadsLead and develop a small, capable finance teamEnsure robust financial governance as the business continues to evolveAbout YouFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience in a senior finance role within consumer, retail, food, FMCG or multi‑channel businessesStrong commercial mindset with experience influencing business decisionsTrack record of improving margin, profitability or financial performanceComfortable operating at senior leadership or board levelHands‑on, pragmatic and solutions‑focused approachConfident communicator with strong stakeholder management skillsThis role offers the opportunity to step into a senior Head of Finance position with genuine commercial influence, working in close partnership with senior leadership.
