We are supporting a leading manufacturing group seeking a highly accomplished Head of Finance to oversee financial operations across multiple European entities. This is a senior, strategic, and operational role requiring deep commercial insight, strong leadership, and extensive experience within manufacturing and multi‑site environments. This is a permanent position from day one.
So what would you be doing? - Leading financial strategy across UK and European entities, ensuring alignment with group objectives - Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis - Driving cost management initiatives, identifying inefficiencies, and improving profitability - Evaluating investment opportunities, including M&A activity and capital expenditure projects - Managing tax planning, compliance, and financial risk mitigation - Providing data‑driven insight to senior leadership and influencing board‑level decisions - Developing financial models and long‑term strategic plans - Ensuring robust financial governance across multi‑entity, multi‑currency operations

But what experience do you need? - Fully qualified qualified with extensive senior finance experience - Minimum 5 years in senior financial leadership roles, including multi‑entity and multi‑country oversight - Strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments - Proven expertise in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic oversight - Demonstrable experience managing multi‑currency P&L and balance sheet responsibility
