For the right person, this is a chance to build something significant, for the company, for your career, and for the impact we’re making in the world.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide robust financial management, reporting accuracy, and strong internal controls throughout all areas of Finance, ensuring a strong financial position.Produce reliable accounts and financial analysis reporting for the Board and external stakeholders.Build and maintain a 6-12 month rolling cashflow forecast, providing clear visibility on income, risks, and emerging challenges.Partner with the CEO and other key leaders on financial planning, capital strategy, and overall business performance.Work closely with senior executives across all subsidiaries, contributing to strategic decision‑making and long‑term value creation.Ensure systems, processes, and controls scale effectively as the company grows.Manage relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring the company extracts maximum value from all engagements, such as banks, external advisors, and any potential investors.Communicate clearly and confidently with shareholders, the board, and internal stakeholders.Support the long term commercialisation of complex technology and IP, ensuring financial structures align with licensing and long‑term monetisation strategies.Support the Organisation to prepare for major financial milestones, including a potential IPO in 5-7 years and the development of licensing‑driven revenue models.What Success Looks LikeThe company maintains a strong cash position with clear forward visibility, with the Finance department seen as a core and reliable function.Robust financial management on all core financial matters (cashflow, supplier management, P and L, balance sheets, management accounts, payroll, etc) across all three divisions and Head Co and proactively ensuring mitigation plans are in place for any financial challenges.The business is structurally and financially ready for a major value event (e.g., IPO) within 5–7 years.The finance function grows into a high performing‑, scalable team with strong systems and controls.The Head of Finance becomes a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership.The company is on a credible trajectory towards a valuation approaching £1bn within the target timeframe.Chartered accountantMinimum 10 years PQEStrong technical accounting expertiseRelevant industry experienceAmbitious team-player with a growth-oriented mindsetPrevious experience with debt and equity providers would be advantageous.To apply: Please email Careers@Catagen.com before midnight on Sunday, 5 April 2026. #J-18808-Ljbffr
