The Opportunity


We’re working with an early-stage, mission-led business in the SaaS/Software Sector, looking to hire a Founding Engineer to help redefine their product for the AI era.

This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal point — working directly with the founders to rebuild and evolve an existing platform into a truly AI-native product, with a clear pathway toward CTO-level leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the evolution of the product into an AI-native platform
  • Building and shipping features using LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent-based workflows
  • Working closely with the founders to define technical and product strategy
  • Identifying where AI can genuinely improve user experience and outcomes
  • Making key decisions on architecture, tooling, and integrations
  • Balancing hands-on engineering with strategic ownership
  • Helping shape the long-term engineering function and roadmap


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong hands-on software engineering background
  • Experience building products in startups or early-stage environments
  • Practical exposure to AI in production (LLMs, agents, prompt engineering)
  • Product mindset — able to think beyond code and into user value
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
  • Interest in building something AI-first rather than AI-added
