Head of Engineering - September Start | Leadership Opportunity | North Oxfordshire A high-performing and forward-thinking secondary school is seeking an ambitious Head of Engineering to lead and develop their growing department from September. Working on behalf of the school as a specialist education consultant, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineering or Design & Technology teacher ready to step into leadership, or an established Head of Department looking for a new challenge in a supportive and well-resourced environment. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Engineering/DT department across KS3-KS5 Drive curriculum development with a focus on practical, industry-relevant skills Monitor teaching and learning to ensure high standards and strong outcomes Support and develop staff within the department Contribute to whole-school improvement and strategy
Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Proven experience teaching Engineering or DT Strong leadership or middle leadership experience Passion for innovation, practical learning, and student achievement Must live in the North Oxfordshire district
