We are working with a leading organisation who operate within the residential real estate sector who manage over 300,000 homes across the UK.

The business has been PE backed since 2022, and acquired a range of operating brands, the organisation has ambitions to accelerate growth across all of it's operating brands by focusing on existing organic momentum and acquisitions into the market.

They are looking for a Head of Cyber Security to lead the existing team as they go through transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the cyber security strategy across IT Security, Cyber Security, and Information Security.
  • Oversee security controls, risk management, and compliance across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Manage threat detection, monitoring, and incident response using Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Entra ID.
  • Lead identity & access management (IAM) and ensure secure authentication processes.
  • Support M&A security assessments and integrations, ensuring due diligence.
  • Communicate cyber risk insights to senior leadership and drive security culture.
  • Manage enterprise security risk

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years in cyber security leadership with a strong security background.
  • Expertise in Microsoft & Azure security environments (cloud, hybrid, on-prem).
  • Experience leading security for M&A, large-scale risk assessments
  • Experience managing enterprise security risk strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and XDR solutions for security monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks, and security governance.

This is a permanent role, with an office in London but remote first opportunity.
