As Head of Compliance Advisory for our UK Insurance business, you'll play a vital role in helping us meet our regulatory responsibilities while keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do. You'll lead a team of Compliance Business Partners, offering expert advice and challenge to ensure our insurance operations are safe, fair and customer-focused. This newly created role is a chance to shape how compliance works across our two regulated entities that are central to our UK business. You'll be part of a team that's brave, caring and responsible, and you'll help us build a culture where doing the right thing is second nature. Key responsibilities
Lead and manage the UK Insurance Compliance Business Partner team Partner with senior leaders across the business to offer practical, professional compliance advice and challenge. Embed compliance into decision‑making processes Oversee new propositions, business operations and incident resolution Collaborate with other advisory leads Maintain strong relationships with business managers and act as a trusted advisor. Support the Chief Compliance Officer and Advisory Director Act as Deputy to the Advisory Director when needed, attending key forums and steering groups. Horizon scanning for regulatory developments Support regulatory change and contribute to wider compliance initiatives across Bupa.
What we're looking for
Significant experience in a senior compliance advisory role Ideally Financial Services / Insurance sector background Gravitas to collaborate with Executive level stakeholders Demonstrable people management skills Ability to navigate corporate matrix environmentExcellent compliance regulatory knowledge, (FCA & PRA) Sound judgement and the ability to balance business needs with regulatory requirements
