Our client, a reputable organisation, is hiring for a Head of Commercial to lead their commercial operations in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and execute commercial strategies, manage key stakeholder relationships, and optimise project outcomes.
What you'll be doing: * Lead on contract negotiations and execution for project-based and resource-based commercial arrangements. * Develop and implement commercial strategies to meet margin targets, adapting to the organisation's evolving pipeline. * Manage supply chain performance, ensuring contractual alignment and risk mitigation. * Support project teams with pricing and commercial governance, reviewing proposals and securing approvals. * Collaborate with senior leadership to develop KPIs and improve commercial tools and processes. * Oversee financial management, including P&L reporting and profit recommendations. * Ensure contract compliance, obtaining formal instructions for variations and compensation events. * Engage with clients and stakeholders through regular commercial meetings to mitigate risks and resolve issues promptly.
