About the role
We’re looking for an ambitious Head of Commercial to join our expanding UK, Pureplay and ANZ commercial team! You’ll be responsible for leading a team as well as nurturing and establishing strategic partnerships with our retail partners, identifying new commercial opportunities, to effortlessly bring the Tilbury magic to life in store and online.
You’ll have a limitless mindset and proven experience working as a Head of Commercial or similar level. You will be highly numerate, a team leader, target-driven, commercially savvy, keen to find creative solutions to challenges and passionate about working in the beauty industry! This role will be based in our London Head Office, we work a hybrid model with 2‑3 days in the office and the remainder can be WFH.
As a Head of Commercial, UK you will
Lead a highly passionate and driven team, ultimately driving them to deliver plans to maintain and drive our number 1 ranking across the market!
Support the development and performance of your team, driving commercial excellence. You will be an active, hands‑on leader, coaching and motivating your team to achieve and exceed their objectives and targets.
Establish and maintain amazing & collaborative relationships with retail partners at all levels including Buying and Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing, to ensure that the Charlotte Tilbury brand is positioned to deliver more than its due share of voice, visibility and exposure.
Conduct successful commercial negotiations and contract management including terms, pricing, distribution, space and location, in‑store visibility and beyond.
Be a senior escalation contact to all relevant retail partners and ensure a top‑line and detailed understanding of retail context, category and individual store performance to identify retail opportunities and strategic needs.
Build and deliver against a retail sales target, within budget expectations, with the engagement and alignment of the Marketing & Retail teams. Including all accurate forecasting for NPD and core lines.
Retain agility to react to retail trends and maximise opportunities across retailers, whilst monitoring and optimising sales performance.
Own all net sales forecasting for defined retailers, meeting all financial deadlines and budget submissions, flagging risks and opportunities in a timely and quantified manner.
Lead end‑to‑end retailer strategy roll‑out annually, leading across all departments to collaborate and deliver an exceptional presentation.
Who you will work with
You will sit within our UK function, within our highly talented Commercial team, reporting directly to our Commercial Director, UK, ANZ & PP.
Work closely with Operational Marketing, Visual Merchandising, PR and Store Development to create and deliver an annual plan for each retailer covering activation of key launches and marketing moments, eventing, store and retailer animation, considering both customer acquisition and retention.
You will build strong working relationships with our Retail team, utilising insights from the field and engaging the team in executing trading plans.
About you
You have demonstrable senior commercial leadership experience within Beauty, Luxury or Fashion.
Highly commercial and strategic, with strong numerical capability, a target‑driven mindset and the ability to turn insights into clear, creative actions.
Inspirational leader with strong presence, able to set vision, energise teams, and comfortably manage shifting priorities.
Approachable and relationship‑driven, building trusted partnerships at all levels, with a genuine passion for beauty and value creation.
Results‑focused and solution‑oriented, confident operating in ambiguity and fast‑changing environments.
Compelling communicator and negotiator, comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and presenting with clarity and conviction.
Proven people manager and coach, combining analytical rigour with attention to detail.
Strong business acumen, able to think macro, shape strategy, quantify impact, and prioritise ruthlessly while managing multiple deadlines.
Curious and growth‑minded, with a strong appetite for learning and role‑modeling continuous development.
