CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for this boutique yet fast growing direct Investment firm that specialises in investing in high growth Venture Capital SMEs. This Mayfair based company specialise in raising assets and investing on behalf of High and Ultra High Network Individuals, with a predominant exposure to the UK market, with long term plans to attack the US and European zones. Following superlative five years of performance and investments, they are looking to replace an outgoing Head of Operations & Client Services, who will be very excited to join this company at such an exciting time.
To be considered for these roles, CassonX are looking to identify someone who is experienced at being a Client Services and Operations Manager with preference to supporting EIS products, or a Private Equity / Small Cap / Venture Cap background. Your experience will include making sure that all deals are on the system (Salesforce) correctly and benefit from leading a team of Clients Services individuals (focus on HNW/UHNW clients and investors), but also showcasing managing BAU and improving processes and updating systems and includes workflow automations, whilst capable of managing a small team of professionals who answer all investor questions via an inbox or telephone (especially with EIS / Tax certificate requests and investors positions).
What is exciting is this company is looking to launch its first Discretionary co-investment funds for family offices in 2026, and with this role the successful person will hold the SMF16&17 title, but still rely on their compliance representatives and partners to perform all tasks, especially when making sure investors are all compliant. Any experience of launching or supporting a similar fund is distinctly advantageous. You will be hungry, charismatic and professional in terms of your style, to work with energetic individuals who also want to be part of something special and a high growth entrepreneurial environment. It is of course extremely busy during a fund raising period, so you must be willing to be “hands on”, as well as showcasing strategic experience in working with other internal functions, galvanising them to achieve, and ideally experience of delivering large scale transformation projects as 2026 is very exciting for their growth with the new fund and enhancements being made to processes and technology, and in particular making sure systems are fit for purpose and scale.
The role will see you responsible for all operations for the investment and client services functions. You will be responsible to make sure all investment deals are recorded on systems accurately (BAU is delivered perfectly), making sure all clients receive a high-quality experience, whilst driving enhancements to processes and systems continuously. You will have an appreciation of regulations and compliance, successfully supervise a team that actions all onboarding of new clients and supporting ongoing questions thereafter, whilst constantly thriving for improvements across the department.
