Role Description

The Head of Client will have ultimate responsibility for ensuring their group clients are receiving the highest level of client service and best-in-class UK/international OOH planning and buying. Working across your agency group, the Head of Client will be responsible for the delivery of forecasted revenue and commercial targets and will be required to create and implement strategies to drive growth across their agency roster.

The Role

The Head of Client will be responsible for building strong relationships with all key agencies and client stakeholders and driving growth through leveraging new and established relationships to uncover new commercial opportunities for the business. In this role, the Head of Client will work with Business Directors to create bespoke programs of engagement in line with our client and agency strategy, support, coach and mentor them to ensure they deliver in their roles, and act as a key escalation point for client servicing issues while continually improving business outcomes.

A Day in the Life

Client Service Excellence

  • Overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of your team/group of agencies and for positive feedback in annual agency surveys.
  • Work with BDs to create annual agency business plans that will deliver growth for Evolve/T.I.
  • Ensure the team successfully delivers high‑quality, strategic and successful international and UK client campaigns across your agency group.
  • Create and help deliver quarterly inspiration sessions and international content across key agency groups to help drive growth in OOH revenue.
  • Ensure team puts effectiveness at the core of their planning and includes research solutions within responses to briefs.
  • Deliver regular market updates and new OOH opportunities to clients.
  • Serve as the point of escalation and support Business Directors in resolving all major client servicing issues.
  • Build strong relationships with the senior management team across all of your agencies, spending time face‑to‑face with key contacts.
  • Generate and deliver annual forecast and hit commercial targets across agencies/clients.
  • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecast updates for your agencies/client groups.
  • Identify new opportunities for clients/agencies to help deliver growth for existing clients.
  • Leverage agency relationships to identify potential new business initiatives and income opportunities.
  • Deliver on diversified revenue.
  • Work with Managing Partner to drive Evolve business initiatives and lead specific projects when required.
  • Implement changes/initiatives resulting from the annual agency survey.
  • Communicate and negotiate at Commercial Director and MD level across your agency group.
  • Compile and implement a hospitality/entertainment plan for key clients.
  • Plan future structural changes and recruitment requirements across the teams.
  • Participate in initiatives that drive Sal Talon group’s commitment to positive social and environmental impact.
  • Help ensure the best possible culture and tone is set throughout the business.

Product

  • Ensure the team promotes and uses the EVOLVE/Talon technology and data stack and that all team outputs include a strategic response to brief with relevant data and insights.
  • Work closely with Talon’s tech team and Managing Partners to develop our international PrOOH/Automation Lead, champion, and educate Evolve/TI’s planning teams and agencies.
  • Guide/lead strategic approaches for briefs for key clients, new business, or where there is a high earning potential.
  • Create and deliver proactive proposals, tailored to key client categories that can be shared across agency and client groups.
  • Ensure creation of award‑worthy work, with a focus on effectiveness to drive stronger outcomes for clients and award wins internationally.

  • Team player who can also work independently with a strong sense of responsibility, ownership and accountability.

Smart Skills

  • Strong presentation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of the UK & International OOH landscape and established relationships with Media Owners.
  • Experience in OOH, DOOH strategic planning, programmatic buying and creative optimisation.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen.
