Job Title: Head of ALS (Additional Learning Support) - Temporary, Full-Time Location: East Lancashire Contract: Temporary, Full-Time (May - August) Rate: £300-£400 a day Eden Brown are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of ALS to lead our Additional Learning Support team on a temporary basis from May to August. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, supporting learners with diverse needs and helping them achieve their full potential. The role is full-time May until July and then reducing to 3 days from 13th July - 14th August. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the ALS team, ensuring high-quality support for all learners. Oversee assessment and provision planning for learners with additional needs. Collaborate with curriculum teams, teaching staff, and external agencies. Monitor learner progress and implement strategies to improve outcomes. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, safeguarding, and funding requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience in ALS or SEN provision in further education. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and best practice. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
