Compensation: £14.00 / hour

What to expect in this role

Our activities teams provide essential support to our residents through bespoke, personalised activities. You will be compassionate and outgoing with a natural ability to connect with the people. We arrange a varied programme of events and outings – ranging from visits to local stately homes, theatres and other places of interest, arts and crafts, Nintendo Switch physiotherapy, exercise classes, home cinema entertainment, croquet on the lawn and IT classes.

40 hours per week

What we expect of you

  • Ensure the wellbeing of the residents and maximize their quality of life by aiding and encouraging each resident to reach their full potential.
  • Promote good working practices and perform duties competently and in accordance with company policies, ensuring a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff.
  • Deal with any accident effectively and follow correct reporting procedures.
  • Demonstrate outstanding time‑management, problem‑solving, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and confidently communicate with people at all levels while maintaining confidentiality when required.
  • Show a strong service mindset and a flexible can‑do approach.
  • Exercise strong judgement and decision‑making ability.
  • Have energy, enthusiasm and confidence to take initiative.
