South Leicester Hybrid (2/3 days office 2/3 days home) We’re looking for a Head of Accounting and Control to join our medium to large sized client, a member-owned cooperative supporting over 1,300 independent construction related businesses across the UK. Location and Reporting Based at its South Leicester office, this role is a key part of the Finance leadership team, reporting to the Finance and Operations Director. Key Responsibilities

Own management accounts, financial reporting, cash flow management and financial controls. Drive financial insight and operational efficiency across the business. Lead a small team and help manage financial processes supporting a GBP 200m of monthly transactions. Play an important role in the company’s digital transformation, implementing new systems, technologies and AI to enhance member support.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW). Strong experience in management accounts and financial reporting. Ability to communicate financial insight clearly to senior stakeholders. Enjoys working hands‑on while maintaining strategic oversight.
