Job Overview
We are recruiting an experienced and high-calibre Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a well-established countryside boutique hotel and inn.
This is a senior role suited to a chef who operates at a consistently high professional standard, with the ability to manage kitchen operations confidently while delivering quality, seasonal food.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations Create and deliver seasonal British / European menus Maintain high standards across: Restaurant service Hotel guests Weddings & private events Control food cost, GP, stock levels, and waste Ensure full compliance with UK food safety & hygiene regulations Train, manage, and motivate kitchen staff Work closely with management on menu planning and operations

Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years relevant professional kitchen experience (essential) Experience in recognised or reputable restaurants strongly preferred Proven experience as a Head Chef, or a very strong Sous Chef ready to step up Strong background in British and European cuisine Demonstrates a high level of skill, professionalism, and consistency Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure Strong leadership and communication skills
This role is not suitable for junior or entry-level candidates.
