Tatar Bunar is a Besarabian-inspired restaurant in London, dedicated to regional cuisine and wines from one of Europes most layered and lesser-known culinary landscapes.

Following our recent inclusion in the

Michelin Guide and successful first year operation , we are entering a new chapter

and we are looking for a

Head Chef

to lead it.

This is not a conventional role. It is an opportunity to help define and shape a cuisine that is still largely unrepresented on the London dining scene.

The Role

We are seeking an

idea-driven Head Chef

who will take a leading role in the operational development of the project. You will work closely with the founders and the Executive Chef to evolve Tatar Bunar into a defining voice of Besarabian cuisine in London.

This role is for someone who is not only a strong leader in the kitchen, but also a

thinker, researcher

someone excited by the challenge of building something culturally meaningful from the ground up

Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire the kitchen team with clarity, structure and high standards Develop and evolve the menu in line with the restaurants vision Research and reinterpret

Bessarabian and Eastern European culinary traditions Work collaboratively on shaping what a modern

Bessarabian restaurant

can be Maintain consistency, quality and discipline across all kitchen operations
