Head Chef Ideal Profile:
A driven and inspiring kitchen leader who sets high standards in food quality and presentation
Strong experience at a senior chef level in environments with recognised culinary accolades
Excellent understanding of menu development, seasonal sourcing and cost control
The ability to mentor, develop and lead a cohesive brigade with integrity and respect
Organised, resilient and calm under pressure with a commitment to exceptional service
Passionate about sustainability, local ingredients and forging relationships with producers
Head Chef Responsibilities:
Lead the kitchen with vision, setting and maintaining high culinary and cleanliness standards
Create innovative, seasonal menus that reflect quality and consistency at a Rosette level
Manage food cost, stock control, supplier relationships and kitchen profitability
Recruit, train and develop kitchen staff; build a talented and motivated team
Ensure compliance with all food safety and health & safety standards
Work collaboratively with front-of-house leadership to deliver an outstanding guest experience
