Head Chef - Canary Wharf - £53,500 + Benefits

We're looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead a high-performing kitchen in a busy staff dining environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive food quality, menu innovation, and operational excellence. You'll be just as comfortable leading from the front, developing fresh, healthy, and creative menus that keep standards high in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This is a Monday-Friday role (7:00am-3:30pm, 40 hours) with no evenings, offering a great work-life balance.

What you'll be doing as a Head Chef:

• Leading a full production kitchen in a busy staff dining environment
• Delivering high-quality food at scale (up to 1,300 covers midweek)
• Supporting and guiding a team of 10 chefs and 7 KP's
• Stepping in across all kitchen roles when required
• Driving menu development with a focus on healthy, innovative dishes
• Maintaining excellent food standards, consistency, and efficiency

What you need to succeed as a Head Chef:

• Proven experience in a Head Chef role (minimum 2 years experience)
• Background in B&I and corporate catering
• Strong experience in high-volume environments
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Passion for high-quality food and menu innovation
• Strong knowledge of healthy and contemporary food trends
