An exciting opportunity with this multi outlet restaurant & event venue in Exmouth, Devon. Offering locally sourced ingredients to create innovative and stylish menus.
Position Overview: Seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-volume fresh food kitchens, events, kitchen management, and a passion for developing creative menus that reflect the companys ethos.
Salary & Benefits:
£45,000+ p.a. Neg. depending on experience
45 hour contracted week.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee kitchen operation, ensuring consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
Develop and implement innovative, seasonal menus that highlight local produce and align with current culinary trends.
Manage, develop and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Monitor and control food costs, stocks, and waste and labour costs to achieve financial targets and margins.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Collaborate with front-of-house management to deliver seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef of a high-volume fresh food kitchen.
Exceptional culinary skills & ability to develop creative and profitable menus.
Sound commercial knowledge, understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
Strong leadership and communication skills
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.
