We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Head Chef for a well-established, food-led pub operation located near Reading .
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef who thrives in a fresh food environment, enjoys leading a kitchen team, and is passionate about delivering consistently high standards.
The venue offers a strong reputation, loyal customer base and a quality menu focused on well-executed pub classics and seasonal dishes.

The Role:

Lead the kitchen team and oversee day-to-day operations

Deliver high-quality, fresh food consistently

Manage GP, stock control, ordering and wastage

Maintain excellent hygiene, compliance and kitchen standards

Train, develop and motivate the brigade

Work closely with senior management to drive standards and performance

The Ideal Candidate:

Proven Head Chef experience within a fresh food pub or restaurant

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Ability to manage a busy service while maintaining quality

A calm, professional approach with a passion for food

Strong understanding of kitchen controls and profitability
